The sun was out the whole weekend and it was lovely to go for a walk outside. Jenny and I visited our friend Anna and her baby boy Alexander and since they live really close to Hampton Court we took a stroll on the grounds. It was beautiful and it was nice to see so many people out and about enjoying the spring weather.

On an unusually sunny E Australian early autumn day you have taken me back to memoryland with the beautiful photos of your visit to Hampton Court. Right opposite the photo #3 path, on the other side of the road, there used to be [daresay still is] this gorgeous old pub/restaurant with the best, absolutely the best poached salmon I have ever eaten. ‘Twas so much fun to sit at the window alcove table upstairs, lift one’s glass of dry white and look at all the people walking up the road 🙂 ! I know which pub you mean, it looks so nice by the riverfront. Sadly haven’t eaten there (yet) but really want to go.
